Description:-

Many significant changes in coding are often made mid-year with little reporting to the medical community from CMS and other private carriers. Because of these changes and their delayed reporting, coders and billers, as well as physicians, are not aware of new rules until months later when the loss of revenue has already occurred because of unsuspected incorrect coding. This presentation will enumerate these mid-year poorly reported changes in coding that may lead to claim denials and reduced payments. Urology and urogynecology mid-year rule changes will be stressed by didactic facts and clinical scenarios. We will also present new, revised, and deleted ICD-10-CM diagnostic codes for 2020 effective on and after October 1, 2019. This webinar will provide the attendees with the knowledge of how these changes are to be used and to be correctly billed.

Talking Points to be Presented:-

  • Changes in POP repairs
  • Changes in reporting BCG administration, a new CPT code
